Educational Sales Representative

Wales Young Institute is seeking sales professionals to develop our business development team and provide service for our students and partners.

The ideal candidate should be creative, self-motivated and have a strong ability to problem solving. Candidates should enjoy working in a school environment. Computer proficiency required, Adobe InDesign knowledge a plus. We will accept applications from sales professionals in other markets and individuals with experience in the educational field.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acquire technical skills and gain program/product knowledge
  • Prospecting and growing market share in your territory
  • Manage existing accounts at various stages of production
  • Keeping schools on task to meet their deadline schedule
  • Maintain organized customer files
  • Attend all sales meetings
  • Target sales every month


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably
  • Outside sales & marketing experience
  • Demonstrate prospecting & closing skills
  • Creative thinking and unique problem solving skills
  • Training/Teaching/Coaching experience preferred
  • Excellent computer literacy skills and proficient in design software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and habits
  • Competitive spirit & influential personality
  • Must be willing to establish a home office and work independently
